        If you want to be a safe motorcyclist the first thing you should do besides buying the right bike and gear is to take a safety class. Many people think they already know how to ride a motorcycle. They are wrong, there are always new things to learn about. All those dirt bike riders out there that think because they can ride a dirt bike they can ride a motorcycle, they are wrong. There is a big difference between a street bike and a dirt bike and there are a lot more safety procedures you have to follow. After you get your first motorcycle lesson, every year you should also take another one just to get caught up. Every year training becomes more and more important. Get trained and stay safe.
